Hallo,

My name is Alex and I live with my wife and my dog in our converted L 406 DG 'Herbert'!

We currently have a breakdown after 2 years on the road and need a new engine. I came to this forum to find out about replacing the old OM615 with an OM616 from an MB100. Is there anything I need to consider with this conversion? Flywheel, pump carrier etc.?

This is a bit of an emergency as we live in our van and it is now in the workshop waiting for a new engine

PS English is my first language so I used a converter for this conversation, I hope it all makes sense.
